• Responsibilities: Receiving and sorting of samples numerically • Analysis of samples by use XRF instrument • Pulverizing and crushing of samples • Determination of moisture, slimes content in samples • Determine HMC in samples by means of density separation • Determine particle size distribution • Perform sample preparation using pressed powder pellet and fusion technique • Verify analytical instruments • Perform first line maintenance on equipment as required • Perform calibration and maintenance of XRF, OX fusion • Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment, and participating in troubleshooting, investigation and problem solving to ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, SOPs, ISO 17025 • Housekeeping practices within the department to ensure that the work areas and surrounding environment is clean all times • Ensure that clients testing requirements are fully met and set turnaround time (TAT) is complied with at all times • Comply with QHSE policy of the company for safety procedures • Set priorities to analytical jobs in order to bring them to completion in a timely manner
• Responsibilities: Operating the reverse osmosis water plant to provide clean water for drinking • Full chemical analysis of water • Determining the chemical elements on clinker and slag as the quality control testing frequencies established by the quality control manager: Example: daily test & weekly test • Conducting in-house water treatment and PH adjustment • Performing chemical analysis on all material used for the cement production such as; clinker, gypsum, coal, and others if necessary • Ensuring all working materials, equipment and solutions are available and in good order • Competent with modern Laboratory instruments such as Xray Florescence, Flame photometer • Preparation and standardization of laboratory solutions
