This role includes rensponsilities such as; Preparation of laboratory reagents. Accurately weighing and compounding of ingredients as per approved recipe and work instructions. Carry out CIP of the processing equipment as per product change over matrix Inspection monitoring and enforcement of good manufacturing practices (GMPS). Implementation of developed departmental procedures and work instructions. Customer complains sample analysis. Root cause analysis of non-conformities in quality department Implementation of corrective actions. Perform online quality checks as per quality assurance procedures and work instructions Positive releasing of products at different stages of production and at dispatch. Inspection of raw and packaging materials to ensure compliance to stipulated company requirements. Inspection of market returns Participating in implementation and sustenance of ISO systems requirements quality management system 9001: 2015 & Food safety management system 22000: 2018 Participate in internal audits based on ISO 19011:2018 guidelines on auditing management systems Strictly ensuring that FIFO is practiced on both raw materials and finished products. Ensure accurate and proper record keeping for future traceability purposes. Carry out any other duties as assigned by the management from time to time.
This role entailed; Raw material inspection to confirm they meet the approved company requirements. Perform water online quality checks as per quality assurance procedures and work instructions i.e. (pH, clarity, TDS and organoleptic tests) Calibration of laboratory equipment Receive and handle customer complaints Operating of the reverse osmosis machine. Inspect the quality of incoming goods and packaging materials as per set company requirements Ensure high levels of hygiene are maintained in the factory and GMPS are being followed. This role entailed; online product sampling and analysis, monitoring GMPS, received and confirmed the quality of green leaves, measured Dhool density hourly to check on withering of green leaf, confirmed fermentation and drying temperature of black leaf, measured the moisture content and density of black tea hourly, made an hourly infusion of black tea for testing to check on quality and documented the quality analysis and online processes.
