I’ve always found myself pulled toward stories that spark curiosity and imagination, especially in younger readers. Over the years, I’ve put in time learning about children’s publishing, manuscript development, illustration, and honestly, a bit of the “why” behind it all, like what makes a book click with its audience. I’m most interested in how publishers for childrens books look at submissions and then steer authors through the whole publishing process. I like swapping thoughts with other writers too, finding fresh viewpoints, and picking up lessons from real experiences shared across the publishing community, even when people phrase things a little weird.
